Technology underpins the work undertaken at the Dental Health Unit.  We have access to a range of diagnostic systems, and frequently employ these in clinical trials.

These technologies are assessed in both laboratory and clinical situations and staff in the unit are internationally recognised for their expertise in these areas. 

A number of contributions to international consensus meetings and review articles demonstrate the commitment to the development and understanding of these tools and the means by which they can assist both researchers and clinicians.

The DHU is also investigating a number of novel systems with our collaborators in medical physics and laser photonics.
